What size photo does a Portuguese passport need?
35mm × 45mm, the standard ICAO size used across the EU. The same photo specification also covers the Portuguese Cartão de Cidadão (citizen card).
Can I wear glasses in a Portuguese passport photo?
Only with clear lenses and frames that don't cross your eyes. Tinted, reflective, or heavy frames that obscure any part of the eye will get the photo rejected.
Is a Portuguese passport photo the same as a Schengen visa photo?
Yes, dimensionally — both use the 35×45mm ICAO biometric format, so one correctly cropped photo works for a Portuguese passport and a Schengen visa application alike.
