How we verify requirements
Every country and document page on this site is checked by hand against that country’s own official government or consular source — never generated or guessed. The exact source we checked, and the date we checked it, is linked at the top of every page, so you can go straight to the primary source instead of taking our word for it. Right now that’s 29 document types across 25 countries; we add more only once each new entry has gone through the same check, which is deliberately slower than covering more countries faster.
How the tool works
Cropping, resizing, and building a print-ready PDF all happen inside your browser — your photo is decoded, cropped, and turned into a file on your own device’s processing power. It is never sent to a server, because this tool doesn’t have one to send it to. See our privacy policy for the full detail.
Why it’s free
There’s no account, no subscription, and no per-photo charge. The plan is to cover hosting through non-intrusive display advertising once the site has real traffic — never by charging for the tool itself, and never by selling or uploading your photos, which we can’t do even if we wanted to given how the tool is built.
